Original Title: Dixie Soda Fountain Co. Peoples #40
Location: Washington DC
People's drugstore was a large chain that later became CVS. They used to have a soda fountain in every store, like they did back in the 1900's. Sadly today there are very few of these wondrous places. This store sold lots of things, but I believe this section mostly sold food and candy. You could order a soda with ice cream added. Cookies, pie, chocolates, anything to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Awesome. I "think I know that place." Confession time: We used to skip school in the afternoon to go to the soda fountain.
