"Anticipation"
A still life digital watercolor painting of a white painted chair on a gray background, to which a big, single pink balloon is tied by a white satin ribbon. I can't decide if the party guests are about to arrive or have failed to, so I'll let the optimist or pessimist in the viewer make that decision, and leave them with the prerogative to change their mind based on any given mood.
