Having spent 5 seasons guiding in the Arctic, I've been fortunate to have laid witness on the ferocity of Lake Trout, particularly on Arctic Grayling! Without fail, whenever I would take clients to catch some grayling, it wouldn't be long until the "sharks" would start circling. On one such occasion, my client released a huge 21" grayling and two minutes later, we watched two 20lb+ lake trout playing tug-o-war with it below the boat! The Arctic is a pretty unforgiving place, especially if you're a grayling!
