About Sarah Bent
Originally from England, Sarah has been living in Hong Kong for over 35 years. Although she always wanted to paint, it wasn't until her three children grew that she finally had time to experiment. As a self-taught artist, she loves the freedom that watercolor allows and the luminosity that it brings to her chosen subject matter. As well as portraits of people and pets, she enjoys painting the tropical flora and fauna of Asia and still-lifes featuring crystal and glass. Sarah is a Juried Member of the International Guild of Realism, a Signature Member of Artists for Conservation and Artists Abroad, Hong Kong. She exhibits annually in Hong Kong, Australia and America.
