Lament Of Sunflowers is an artwork originally painted in watercolor and acrylic, but I further worked it with more acrylic - some very fluid acrylic and when dry I used oils in a very abstract manner. When once again dry I took the work into photoshop and added a last love letter in tender layers intermingled with the sadness of the lamenting sunflowers.

If one is going to paint dying flowers, it is my opinion that the flowers need to look so droopy that the viewer has to feel the sorrow.
