Santa Fe NM Door - We realized we took a lot of door while in Santa Fe New Mexico on our last trip there and thought I would put some out. We love the stucco, adobe style with there wooden doors many times it opens to a courtyard before you even get to the home. This is one of he many we photography years ago. The Santa Fe NM style architecture is basically the Spanish pueblo with flat roofs, and adobe bricks made of mud, earth and straw. with a wooden door. Santa Fe's historic adobe architecture evolved from early Native American dwellings that impressed the Spanish in the early 1600's. Many of the doors are paint bright colors or left in a natural state against a backdrop of earth colored adobe walls.
