"Skimbleshanks"
Skimbleshanks is the Jellicle Cat in the T.S. Eliot poem Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats who overlooks the trains and passengers of the railway, quite an important job, and the train on his favorite line won't leave without him. I depicted the character as a Cornish Rex and used a color palette of maroon, navy, dusty blue, plum purple and taupe for my digital soft pastel painting of the literary cat.
