On a beautiful summers’ day, my golden retriever Kobi Wan Kenobi and I went for a drive looking for a sunflower field in Bowling Green so I could use the images to paint a cover for the SOKY Happenings magazine August 2009 issue. We came across this huge field…what a wonderment to the eyes! Now when I look at this artwork, I smile thinking of our little excursion; it was one of my fondest days I spent with Kobi, my art companion…
