The Cholla blossom did not mean to leave its flower partner on purpose. That's Life! Just the way it is. It served its purpose of pollination, benefiting bees, butterflies, humming birds and other insects of interest. Giving us beauty to enjoy as well. The blossom dries up, falls off and now the fruit is ready to ripen. So it really did "PICK A FINE TIME TO LEAVE!"
