My maiden name is Jacqueline Crespo and I was born at Carlisto Garcia hospital in Havana Cuba in March 1962. My father named me after Jacqueline Kennedy, which was something Cubans were not to do! My father was sent to work in the fields due to the fact he refused to change my name and to keep it. I came to this country when I was six and a half on a cold December day in 1969.
