This was my first gallery accepted artwork!
I look at this painting and remember how much fun it was to paint. I was living in New Orleans, working in the restaurant industry and was so excited to come home and work on this piece! Currently, my father is a retired chef in New Orleans, Sebastian (Buster) Ambrosia, who had been executive chef for many restaurants including his own and had a radio show on WWL on Sunday mornings. I got this idea from one of his publicity shots taken of chefs with a big table in front filled with every gastronomic culinary food you can image!!! I even gave it a restaurant phrase for a name…Mise En Place…which is French for everything in its’ place.
